This backpack rocks!

By Ranked #1007 - Daypacks January 2, 2009

I love this backpack! I had another daypack/backpack, which I really liked, but it was more book bag-ish, so I wanted a cool backpack that looked and felt like a REAL backpack. This Osprey is perfect. It holds a lot, the pockets are great, the material is great, and it is very adjustable. The main compartment holds more than I thought it would. It has a lot of compression straps just in case you don't have it packed to capacity. The top zip pocket is advertised as a sunglass pocket, but it is much larger....I can fit my wallet, change purse, passport, small notebook, pen, tissues, and yes, sunglasses, in that pocket. The hip belt zippered pockets are just big enough to hold a snack or gum or maybe a little digital camera. The harness pockets (the ones that will be on your chest) are perfect for an MP3 player. I am a Navy wife currently living in Japan, but we are moving to Hawaii this month. I've already used my backpack for a weekend in Tokyo, but I know it will really rock in Hawaii for hiking, boating, and just throwing it in the back of my Jeep for a drive to the beach or anywhere. This backpack will be with me for a very long time....maybe forever. By the way, the chili red color is actually a very awesome darker orange. I love it. I was concerned about the color when I ordered (it looked kind of orange in the picture, which is what I wanted; but it said it was chili red, which I didn't want). So if you have those same concerns, don't worry! The color is great. You will love this backpack!
