Does not hold in much warmth! But, I found that even though I wore this jacket with only a thermal long sleeve underneath on a freezing day-- I stayed pretty warm on a 2 mile walk. During that time, there was a good breeze making it even colder, as well as rain/snow lightly falling. My jacket did not get wet and kept the wind out. It was pretty sweet. I was thoroughly impressed.
I decided this jacket is great for:
colder jogs, cool jogs, cold walks, weight training at the gym, and a windbreaker style jacket for early fall and spring.
