Gear Review
Solid performer

I've used the harness for 2 seasons of alpine and vertical ice. It does the job well.
Pluses: racking options, full strength rear tie in point, adjustability, and comfort
Minuses: not a nimble rock harness, 'ice clipper' interferes with traditional racking,
Overall, pretty solid harness if you want a winter workhorse.

It's definitely not made to be a rock harness. The water-phobic padding/materials don't absorb sweat like most rock harnesses do which can result in less-than-desired comfort. I've never used it for rock, though--just ice. The ice clipper sort of interferes with traditional racking, but only slightly. After a few climbs, it's super easy to deal with it. And the ice clippers are totally worth it.
