Gear Review
Comfy yet not too soft.

Ranked #728 - Men's Ski Boots
December 29, 2008
Coming off race boots, I was a bit worried about the stiffness (lack of) of the Impact 10s, a 110 flex rating. After skiing on them for 5 days in both powder conditions and east coast ice, I have been impressed however with the boot's performance. It is pretty comfortable providing a large enough yet supportive foot cavity. The liner materials are great. The boot is not too soft and responds well to forward pressure. My feet got a bit sore in warmer conditions, but the pain was relieved relatively easily by unbuckling on the lift. No doubt, Salomon makes a superior boot.
