another keen hit

These are my 8th pair of Keens and my 3rd pair of Keen boots.

These are probably the dressiest of the three I have (Stockholm, Chamonix), and gives me an added inch of lift.

These remind me of my vibram-soled hiking boots in that they are stiff and therefore quite supportive. They're not soft in the heels like the other two, but I can still wear them for miles without discomfort.

The waterproofness is superb, and the breathability makes wearing them indoors during the day a breeze.

The only problem I've had so far is the first day I wore them with slouchy socks and the right boot where the zipper ends at the top rubbed my skin. I just now wear high socks.

Sizing is pretty standard Keen - if you're on the larger side of a particular size, go half size up. These do feel pretty true to size, but I went up half size like I do with all my Keens and this affords me to wear thicker socks.

All in all, dressy yet casual, and ever so functional. Thumbs up!
