I'm wearing this coat here in Mpls right now. I used it with the air temps around -10F last week and -40F wind chill. At those temps my arms started to get cold first. I had to layer polartec underneath to stay warm. It's not a piece of "survival gear" but it is a decent piece of around town wear. A couple of complaints are there are not enough pockets and being that I am 6'2" I wish the coat was 2-3" longer in the body. The down hood, tight collar and cuffs are all well done by MHW. I wish they would have put even more down in the coat though. I suspect that to get the kind of coat I want I will have to pay at least $500. Anyway, for what it is---an urban, non puffy coat, it does the job.
