These are the bomb...I have hiked Kili and the Inca trail in them as well as a number of other trails. I changed out the insoles for the perfect fit. They were comfy on my 1st hike. The Gore-tex is worth every extra penny. I have hiked hours through rain and snow, always with dry feet...not necessarily warm, but definitely dry and ready to go again the next day. They are 2 years old and still going strong.
