This dude is Heavy. If you are car camping, go for it, great little pot. If you are a backpacker, spend the extra doe and buy titanium. Got it for my father in law, and he loves it. However it did replace a huge pot he always drug around.

Stainless steel = HEAVY. That stuff is iron plus chromium, both very dense materials. Titanium: there is a reason they don't make normal cookware from titanium... low thermal conductivity. Aluminum would be the lightest. And it is quite abundant and cheap, but I have yet to see stowaway pots made from it :( sad.
