Mountain Hardwear Transition Zip T - Men's

Item #MHW0724 | 0 in Stock
5 Star Rating

One solid top.

By Ranked #526 - Men's Windshirts and Jackets December 15, 2008

I received one of these as a birthday present. I doubt that I would have purchased myself due to the cost - but I would now. The Transition is a gem in all ways - construction, materials and performance. I use it for cold weather running, and it is perfect. The fit is indeed snug in the gut area, but has lots of shoulder room - it doesn't pinch my pits. It has the uncanny ability to be comfortable in wide range of temps and conditions. I have used it alone on bare skin, layered over both Patagonia capilene 1 and 3, and as a base layer under an insulated top. It goes well with all. Bite the bullet and get one if your mom or wife will let you.

I hear this jacket is warm, but how breathable is it? Compared to the Marmot Catalyst, how well does this jacket breathe?
