I bought these for my girlfriend for Chistmas and she really likes them. They allow several varying temperature levels - with liners, without liners, shell with small pocket vent, or shell, liners and hand warmer in small pocket of the shell. We were at Mammoth and there was a day where we got over a foot of snow and wind gusts up to 60 MPH, long lift lines, and super cold temperatures. On that day, her fingers were a little cold when we were standing in line, but they warmed up quickly when we starting riding again. That was an extremely cold day when only the Insulator mitts would have worked, but since those gloves would be too warm on most days, the bottom line is these are great all-around gloves that will keep you dry.
