3 warranty replacements later...

Ranked #464 - Men's Snowboard Pants

The best thing about these pants is the lifetime warranty. Sure they're great as far as waterproofing, and ok (not as good as 3L pants) as far as windproofing and warmth. However, they could not withstand regular riding and after my last warranty replacement lasted 2 days I'm not even sure they can handle casual use. There is an inexplicable horizontal seam across the butt that I have never seen on any other pant in my life, this was what got blown out on the first 2 sets, earning me the illustrious nickname "assflaps" on the hill (one lasted about 10-15 days, the other about 5 days). The seams are weak in general and very much prone to failure. The 3rd set ripped clean through the actual fabric right under 2 of the belt loops. I am sorry but Burton pants with a $300 retail price tag should not fail so easily and repeatedly. They are every bit as flimsy as they look and feel, save yourself the aggravation of repeated warranties and get a different line.
