Vasque hiking shoes are worth the little extra

I was looking for a pair of light-weight hiking shoes to use in tandem with my Vasque Clarions and these shoes fit the bill perfectly. After replacing the standard insoles with Superfeet insoles, I have logged around 30 miles on the new Catalyst's and they are great! No blisters, no pain, and they stick to slippery rocks like glue. Make sure you are a little more cautious about twisting your ankle (versus traditional boots), and you will enjoy these shoes for many, many miles.
