Ranked #172 - Men's Performance Tights
December 9, 2008
I have only had these pants out twice so far, but I am so far impressed. I have used them on my morning run(s) in temps of 35 degrees, and 22 degrees. On both runs I found the pants to be dead-on comfortable. I am a big fan of Gore's Windstopper, and the application by The North Face here makes sense. It blocks the wind caused by your forward movement, as well as canyon breezes. The fleece at the back of your leg is soft and breathable. I like the cut of the pants; they seem unrestrictive - cut close to the leg without being a" tight." The articulation of the knee allows for good flexing. They appear to be a good solution for active winter exercise - I am looking forward to using them on a snowshoe trek. I am 5'8" 150lbs, and the medium fits me well, as do most TNF products (although the short 30 inch inseams are the best).
