In no disrespect to Canyoneering....rapping off a fifi hook is a really bad idea. A fifi is designed as a quick and fast way to attach yourself to a bite of webbing or a Daisy Chain. It's not designed to hook into rock! You would be much better off using what used to be called a 'bat hook,' now known as a 'Cliffhanger'

And frankly as a climber with 20 years under my belt - I would only rap off any hook as a last resort - It's a good way to end up dead.
