Gear Review
fat, but maybe too fat
By Adam
Ranked #698 - Big Mountain Freeride Skis
December 3, 2008
there have been many reviews saying these skis are amazing, but at the same time maybe too fat. let me clarify, when using these fatty's in some deep pow they could possibly be the nicest skis ever but once some cliffs are being dropped you may notice that the powder your dropping on isnt as soft as your other skis in the past are; this is because of the huge demensions and such a large surface area that its pretty similiar as landings in the park. so before purchaseing these, consider the terrain you'll be skiing. whether it be big mountain and huge turns, or mainly cliffs. try going down to your local shop for some more tips or even a skinnier ski (ex: the k2 hellbent). get the facts, not just a ski based on graphics.
however this is still a great ski, and should be purchased here because of the cheap price
