Gear Review
favourite pants for the cold

I bought these for field work in Antarctica and they were GREAT. I wore nothing else. Also they worked well over a wide range of cold temperatures, from jaw-dropping windchill in early spring to relatively balmy weather in summer.
Fit is very comfy, especially when using the (detachable) suspenders. The fabric is a little bit stretchy, which is nice.
The kevlar protection on the hem is also very functional if you wear crampons, or just heavy boots.
I thought they looked cool, too.
Totally recommended!
