Gear Review
Great for everyone except short women

Ranked #714 - Winter Packs
November 26, 2008
My one problem with this pack is that the back height is little too long for me. I'm 5'3 and I wouldn't mind if it was a little smaller (the straps are also not optimally positioned for a woman's frame). Otherwise, I would love it. The pack's most distinguishing feature is its small volume. The capacity is 671 cu. in., which is very small. A helmet won't fit inside this pack (though I find it's pretty easy to attach it to the handle). If you want something to carry an extra pair of goggles, gloves, skins, and a sandwich, this is your pack. It's small size means there's not much room for stuff to shift around. It's flatness also means it doesn't shift your balance back too far, even if you put bricks in it (though I can't say I tried).
