I really wanted to like these shoes because of all the other good reviews, however I will probably end up returning them. The shoe is comfy but the strap itself is ridiculously tight (even after I got a size up). Additionally, after testing it out by walking around, the inside back of the shoe rubbed my foot raw (the area of the achilles tendon). KEEN makes quality shoes but these unfortunately did not work for me.

agree completely with this review. the strap was tighter than desired, and it was the very rough back/heel of the shoe that was the deal breaker. for KEEN, you expect complete comfort, and these shoes didn't do it for me. the arch, however, was pretty comfortable for flat feet.
