One of the guys who started Backcountry.com insisted I buy this piece of gear 6 seasons ago - I have no regrets. This is the perfect jacket for about anything - a ski layer, a fall hike, a bike ride, and it is perfect for the golf course. It is easy to stuff in your backcountry pack, or your carry-on.
