The jacket is incredibly soft but a little too narrow in the sleeves and chest which makes it hard to wear the jacket zippered up or with anything but a thin shirt.

Yeah, I have to disagree. I have the XS (I'm 5'3, 110 lbs) and I can wear a sweater under my Osito fleece jacket or a hooded sweatshirt, and with room to spare.

Really? I do beg to differ, I just got the guava green one and can wear a fleece pullover underneath it. Not a thick fleece, but a regular weight one. The sleeves are not form fitting, but not as loose as the Columbia fleece jackets are. Unless you order too small or are quite busty, I don't see where you would have a problem wearing shirts underneath this jacket.
