It's the winner

Ranked #570 - Canister Stoves

I've had many of this type/style stove--MSR, Brunto, Primous, even the vaunted JetBoil PCS--this little Coleman stove is the hottest and most reliable I've ever used. I just came back from a caribou hunting trip on the North Slope in the Alaskan arctic tundra. Just me and a buddy sleeping in the 3-4' of snow in -30F temps....you lie or die w/your gear. I had a F1 coleman stove & a set of WBO Brunton light weight pots--stove and fuel fit inside nicely- usingh both MSR and Coleman fuel canisters. My buddy had the exact same looking MSR stove (Superfly I think). The F1 has an auto ingition and lit up first try every time...my buddies' MSR required matches or a lighter, which at -30F, do not work. So we had to light his stove with mine to melt snow to drink and keep from dehydrating (water bottles freeze instantly out there) and to cook our Mt. House meals. Great time and the F1 was everything I needed. JetBoils work good, but so does this F1.
