pretty much exactly what I expected. Super small with full bladder it can hold a small camera, snacks, all the crap i would normally have in my pockets. Great fo biking and day hiking and the insulated shoulder strap zipper is cool for holding my zig-zags and lighter. I use a velcro strap to fasten my sil tarp, sierra designes rain jacket and trekking poles to the two loops that are on the front of the bag for rainy day hikes. Use it every day and it works great for a minimalist.
