Does the job

Ranked #698 - Overnight Backpacks (2000 - 2999 cu in)
November 7, 2008
The pack does what it should. If you want a good priced pack with decent room, this one will not disappoint but neither will it impress. The looks and color selection are pretty cool. It would be better with an adjustable susp. system. Great for the casual camper looking for a good performing weekend pack.

I agree that this pack will work well for the "casual camper", however, it will work well for "peak baggers", backcountry trekkers, alpine scramblers, glacier travelers and semi-technical climbers as well ... I've used it for all those purposes. I agree with some other reviews that the suspension system is not adjustable,so if your a long torso person that could be an issue(I'm not) but for the "average" size person this pack should fit nicely.
