This jacket has been with me for almost 11 years now(2000). Still has good loft and I've never had a hole. Yeah I've lost some feathers over the years, but all down products shed a bit. Warm and light weight. The stow feature is great for hikes/backpacking. I would recommend for anyone who wants a warm and functional down insulator to last for a long while.
