This jacket proved that mountain hardwear doesn't have a standard sizing chart. The jacket is nice, and the lining is really fuzzy, but unfortunately if you order the size you need in other hardwear jackets, it most likely won't fit.
Thank goodness for backcountry.com as they were so nice to exchange it. Mountain Hardwear itself could learn some lessons from backcountry, as their customer service is certainly lacking.
