Comfortable, Sturdy and Dry. What Could be Better?

Ranked #1913 - 3-Season Tents
November 3, 2008
My wife and I use this tent for weekend backpacking trips. I carry it, which is why she likes it. I like it because it is roomy for two people without being overly heavy. (If you're planning on sleeping three people in it, make sure you're all real good friends.) At 7 pounds it violates the 3 pounds per person guideline. I maintain it's worth it because you get two doors and two large vestibules. Two doors are super when you have to get up in the middle of the night and you can do it without crawling over someone. Two vestibules are really great for tucking boots and stuff out of the weather. The tent has a lot of mesh which keeps condensation from building up. And, it comes with an attic for storing breakable things like glasses. My only complaint is that the tent doesn't come with a cool name like Hubba Hubba.
