Ranked #2779 - Men's Down Jackets

I was looking for a serious winter down parka. This isn't it. The sewn-through construction and megre fill just don't provide enough warmth. I wore it indoors one afternoon for about 30 mins and didn't break a sweat -- not a good sign it'd keep anyone warm in actual outdoor use. Too bad, because the cut fits and looks nice, and it's fairly lightweight. So, I guess that Marmot's recommendation of "urban" use is appropriate, but it's not my choice for a mountaineering garment.

I bought a marmont jacket in 1990 and the jacket is still in great shape.I have a New Face down,It's great, but nothing like a MARMONT.There's a review above about the feather's in the arms,When you get your jacket, put it in the dryer on "COOL" cycle with a clean tennis shoe bounce it for about 30 minutes. It will PUFF out nicely.also thank you Back country, the jacket came on sale yesterday ,they gave me the credit no questions asked,I WILL BE BACK,Thank you back country.
