This jacket is great for hiking. I was hiking in 70mph wind gusts with a wind chill of 20 degrees and i just had a tee-shirt and this jacket and it was perfect. I also wear it under a hardshell when i am skiing. The only downside is i wish it had a hood but then it wouldn't look nearly as cool. Also great for just wearing around town and casual.
