i've used this to attach to my road bike and my mtn bike. it's simple and just works. if you are doing intervals or focused heart rate work it's a must... because otherwise it's impossible to keep looking at your watch.

If you have a road bike with skinny bars wrapped with thin tape, AND your cables are not under the wrap, either of the two Suunto adapters will work OK. Otherwise, look elsewhere. Bottom line - these were made for skinny bars. Fine for most mountain bikes, but useless for roadies. Polar has one that might work better...
