I bought these shoes 4 months ago through back country because I needed a great pair of shoes for trekking. The shoes are comfortable, nice, but horribly slippery. I can't trust them for walking on wet ground. I'm so dissapointed at Merrel because these shoes were supposed to be firm and steady in any type of surface. Wet wood, tiles, and rocks are dangerous ground for me. The problem is that I'm now in China, I left my hiking boots at home as I brought these and now it's gonna be a nightmare to find good shoes here and my number size... Too bad. I still love my shoes but for sunny dry days :(
