how long are these? do they generally end below the knees, or are they uber-geeky thigh huggers?

the inseam is good length for hiking and the nylon material is quick drying. 38 fit right on my just at the knee.

I'm 6'2", 210lbs. These worried me immediately upon putting them on. The 34" waist seemed true to size, but they felt really weird on me. I'm pretty leggy and they were a solid 3 inches above my knees - and that was after pulling them down as much as possible. I went into a deep knee-bend and almost blinded myself with my inner thighs. When I stood back up, they had hiked up and definitely gave off a geeky look that my buddy actually laughed at. Definitely a slim fit. Wasn't sure how they were supposed to ride on my hips - it seemed like a long distance from the crotch to the beltline, and after that kneebend the crotch felt overly personal. Lots of friction on tops of thighs with long strides. Stretchy fabric was cool and quality looked pretty good, just not my body type I guess.

Well the inseam is 10.5 inches which puts them right at the top of the knee, not below it.
