I'm looking to buy this pack as my first internal frame. I was measured at 19 1/2 inches torso. Would I be better off getting the medium or the large? It's at the top end of one and on the bottom end of the other. Any suggestions?

Depending on how much you like this pack, my guess is that you are going to get a second pack in the future as well. Then you may want to borrow your old pack out to someone. Chances are they are going to fit better into a medium. Just a thought.

It depends. If you want a pack that can haul more gear, then get the large if you can get away with it, it's a 60L. If that isn't you concern, or you want something a little lighter, go with the medium, as it is only 55L, and 100 grams lighter (not that big of a deal).
