what is the attachment method? the bike I need a cage for, an old garage sale schwinn, does NOT have the little fittings to accept machine screws or whatever on the downtube

gonna have to use some duct tape or mini hose clamps then ... maybe both... !

Well that's the attachment method, so you may be SOL. Or you could duct tape it on.
