I've been caught in the rain in mine a few times, They're completely fine in the rain. Sometimes the shoe can get a bit slippy inside, and occasionally on muddy surfaces I found can be a bit slippery too after the shoes are worn in.

Write your answer here...i've worn mine in the lake and the ocean with no problems. didn't wreck mine at all. little slippery on the inside (but your foot is contained in the shoes so does not move around) but shoe grip is not compromised

like a water shoe? no. but you could wear them in the rain... but they would get wet, which is obvious. i feel like the foam would have issue if you went wading in these repeatedly
