I go backpacking a lot and I am looking for a sleeping bag that is within a reasonable price, packs down to a small size, and still provides a decent amount of warmth. Is this the bag I am looking for?

Anthony, With the proper sleeping pad, it will work great. I have a similar synthetic 15 deg bag by Marmot, used it last Oct in WY and CO mtns and it worked fine on nights in the 20's and 30's. In it's stuff sack, it packs down to around the size of a volleyball/basketball.
