Bionic also has a more tapered fit and in my experience is totally waterproof

This is a softshell jacket (stretch woven), while the Windwall jacket is a windblocking fleece jacket. The Bionic is going to be a better outerwear jacket - very water resistant and totally windproof (where the Windwall is about 95% windblocking). The pro's to the Windwall are that I think that it makes a better layering piece. The breathability is going to be a little better, and I think it will be more comfortable to layer with.
