how do these do with odor? I am planning on going on a week long hiking trip and do not want to take many clothes.

well, my friend, I can say that these will smell. I used them on my Appalachian Trail thru-hike where I would go a week or two without washing my clothes. These were my camp boxers, so I didn't wear them while hiking, but after a while they start to smell. The great thing about them is they are incredibly easy to rinse out in a river -- and then you're golden!

I have not worn these in particular, but the 'new' Capiline (Cap 1, 2, 3) resists odor much better than the older stuff (silkweight, lightweight, midweight). (sorry it's not a great answer, but i figured some info was better than none)
