I currently ski Rossignol B2's 174cm and they are about at the top of my head with no shoes on. I am an expert skier-20 years, nothing on the mountain i cant do or try, 179pds 5' 9'' tall and was thinking of going with 170cm. They come in 184cm, 177cm, and 170cm. I like the fresh back country and tree runs, but I also like ripping down the hard packs and tackling the moguls. What would be the best size for me, 177 or 170? I like it a little stiff and responsive, but must be able to float in the pow!

For more float and stability at high speeds the 177cm is a better option. It might feel a little bit long at first, but it's only 3 extra cm, nothing crazy. After a day you will be rippin' with these, and probably not regretting it.
