Is this pack too small for an overnight trip or a weekend trip?...

Is this pack too small for an overnight trip or a weekend trip? Also, does anyone know if the straps are comfortable around the neck and shoulder area? I've had problems finding one that doesn't cut into my neck when I tighten the straps to hug my back.
