Can someone please tell me why you would want a double sliding zipper on a jacket? I had one at one point and never used it. Is it so you can wear the jacket as a cape or what? If I get to the point that I need that much ventilation my jacket's coming off because I'm either going to get soaked from the outside in or inside out.

Yes, it does allow for some killer superman dives but also lets you widen the bottom to give yourself more room to walk, run or do whatever it is that you need to.
