JRappGuru means 35 degrees F. -5 C is probably about right for this jacket. Maybe a little on the cold side, but I haven't tried my mens version out in near zero weather yet.

On those -5 days, you would want to use this as a layer rather than the only jacket you are wearing. On those 35 degree days this should do the trick.
