Just got a Suunto t3c and have tried it out for two Rmp (Spinning/Cycling) classes as the gym. My recent class showed me as having a max heart rate of 185 and an average of 169 over a 40 minute session. The kcal for the session was 469, which seems to me to be a bit low (I was really going for it!). I have set the watch correctly for my age, weight and height. Is there something else I am missing in the set up?
Cheers, Julie

That's probably about right. Competitive cyclists burn anywhere from 400 to 600 calories and hour, so unless you're training for the Tour de France I wouldn't expect more.
