These watches are designed as user-replaceable batteries. Just be gentle with the back so you don't cross thread, and with the O-ring so as not to damage it. Recommended to buy a Suunto battery kit.

best to just take it to a professional jewler/watchmaker/watch seller to do it (even the kiosk at the mall or the watch center at your local department store are valid places). otherwise you might hinder the waterproofness by changing the battery yourself
