that is a really good question!...thats happened before and ive wondered but this was the last straw, i went and asked...heres the conversation i had with a backcountry employee on live chat. "-cyrus: hi a customer asked a really good question about the burton space sack BUR2442 -cyrus: one of the models is more expensive than all the others ones and there seems to be no reason why -Brett S.: Just a moment while I look into that. -Brett S.: I am not sure why that would be a different price... sometimes we place items at different price due to what we have available and what sales. -cyrus: and thats a fixed price? can it be changed to match the rest? -Brett S.: I cannot change that sorry.
