Write your question here...In comparing the Theta SV to the Stinger I am confused about the fabric. Does the Theta SV have an additional protective layer that the Stinger does not? Or are both materials the same?

The real difference between the Arc'teryx Stinger Bib and Theta SV: fit; Stinger have a fuller cut in the legs. Features; Stinger has thigh pockets, and thigh vents, as opposed to full length zips on the Theta SV. Both use the stretch-woven back panel that breathes well, but still sheds show- it's the same fabric used in the Gamma MX, but with a slightly lighter fleece backing.

When comparing the Stinger to the Theta SV, these bibs are very similar in performance both being constructed of GoreTex Pro. The difference simply is the Stinger has a short area replaced by Polartec® Power Shield® on the bibs back under where you jacket will lie. This offers increased breathability, were the Theta SV is all GoreTex
