Zi, The fabric is very soft and slick for a man-made material. I have the carbon, and it has a golden thread interwoven with the grey that is very subtle - it gives the fabric a light sheen. It's really beautiful and feels very luxurious.

not shiny actually. Its matte and has a tone on tone checked pattern only visible up close.
