A Question about The North Face Heckler Backpack - 2050cu in

I want a pack that can carry my cleats. See cleats get wet and muddy and are generally not something you want to put inside your pack with the fleece and jeans you took off. So I was thinking the side mesh (water bottle) pockets or the front stash cord might be the place to put cleats I don't want mixing with my cloths.

Why not get a water proof bag to put your cleats in thus keeping the mud and such away from your cloths and keeping the inside clean
