Will the 170 cm bag handle a 170 cm ski, or do I need to order the 190 cm bag? Thanks!

it prob would, but get the 190(i did) you can fit a helmet gloves goggles and a softshell

Yes it will. But I always suggest sizing up one size. That way you can fit other items in the bag like goggles, gloves etc etc.
