BeeCee:Jon Web suggested i ask you. I am for looking a jacket for spring/fall general use and warmth somewhere between my Fission AR and my Sigma AR. I was leaning toward Scorpion over Venta SV because it sounded warmer but didnt know. Now wondering whether Fission LT Hoody or Kappa SV or other would be better (warmer). Your thoughts. Thanks, Steve

The Scorpion and venta SV will be about the same warmth. It sounds like the Kappa AR would be what your looking for, depending on how much water resistance you need. It's fine for a light drizzle, but not a waterproof coat (DWR treated, 130g primaloft) the other jackets you mention are equivalent insulation to the fission AR (200g primaloft)another option would be the Gamma SV, it's got a highloft fleece and is highly wind and water resistant, but very breathable and has nice stretch.
