Do chacos run pretty true to size? Or should you get a size smaller when ordering the styles that have a back strap?

I believe the next size up works best if you are in the 1/2 sizes, but if you are for ex. a 7, stick with the 7's. I am a 8w in Chaco sizes, but normal shoes 7.5. Also, yes, the regular width is a bit to narrow for people with normally regular wide feet. I also like my shoe the next size up because I've been told by reps and white water guides that it protects the toes. With a size smaller your toes are more exposed to being stubbed ( plus toes hanging over the edge of sandals look silly!!).

They dont come in half sizes and they are a bit bigger. If you are 9.5 get a 9 and it will fit great. Keep in mind my wife has a pair and she does not have super wide feet and these are a smidge too narrow for her. If you have really wide feet, get the comparable in a mens sandal.
